Corinus was actually successful in driving back the attackers. Corinus: "Why does everyone think I'm an idiot?!"

General: "This is for messing with my wife!" Corinus: "My own general!" Because he was.

With Corinus and his army (which had deserted) out of the way, Rome was easily claimed by Diocletian.

Diocletian then called the old palace advisors and generals to a meeting.

Advisors & Generals: "Spare our lives!" Diocletian: "In every sense you are my enemies."

Diocletian: "You supported the previous emperors. You led your armies against me."

Advisors & Generals: "..."

Diocletian: "Wahtever. You may resume your posts."

Advisors & Generals: "Does that mean you're not going to kill us?"

Diocletian: glare

Advisors & Generals: "Back to work!"
