Yay, battle scene!
View Transcript
Maxentius had partially destroyed the Milvian Bridge, in order to slow Constantine's approach. So he constructed a pontoon bridge in order to cross the Tiber with his army. He could use it to retreat back to Rome, should the need arise.
Legionary: What if Constantine's army follows us?
Maxentius: You pull that pin and the whole thing falls. Ingenious, no?
Legionary: More like dangerous.
The two armies, fairly evenly matched with about one hundred thousand men each, met beyond the Tiber river.
The battle began!
Constantine: CHARGE!
Maxentius: CHAAaaARG!
