What? A panel with no words in it? What is Emperors coming to?

I’m actually a little worried about the wordy-ness of this chapter, and while it will continue to be like that till the end, we are taking pains to change up the pace for chapter three.

Licinius celebrated his Christian victory by slaughtering everyone related to the old emperors, cutting all ties once and for all.

Licinius Now no one will try to take my empire again! Except...

316 A.D., Constantine invaded Licinius' territory for the second time.

Licinius: Whhyyyyyyy?!?!?

Constantine: Because you didn't make my son your caeser!

Licinius: No, really!

Contantine Yes! Really!

Legionary 1: Sir, please get down from there.

Legionary 2: Why do they always do this?

Licinius raised Valens, a Dux Limitis,* to Augustus, and placed him in charge. This insulted Constantine, thus making peace talks futile.

  • Duke of the frontier

Licinius: Wow, Valens, I really screwed that one up! Good luck!

Valens: Uh.

the thing about the words is that you have an accurate record of history here, and it’s funny. If I were a history teacher, I’d use this to teach the era to my class.
