Emperors of Byzantium is a dramatized historical webcomic, set in Ancient Rome during the Byzantine era. In full it will describe the fall of old Rome with its Pagans and bloody wars, and the rise of the Holy Roman Empire, with it’s Christians and… bloody wars. Full of gags, running jokes and murder. But usually in a lighthearted and humorous manner.

All the historical facts – names, dates, and events – are correct, to the best of our knowledge. Check out our references page if you don’t believe us, or if you want to learn more about this crazy time period.

Emperors of Byzantium is created by a father-daughter team, co-written, drawn, inked by daughter and co-written, lettered, and website monkeyed together by father. New pages will be published every Tuesday and Thursday Wednesday.
